The taste is a bit of a required taste. It seems a Lil like you’re eating a very crispy type of snack. The flavor is unique but not bad. I honestly would buy them again.”

Melissa said, “This coconut bacon is so bomb, I literally eat it straight out of the bag like a snack! It’s amazing on sandwiches, salads, pasta, pizza, baked potatoes, and the list goes on. Honestly, I feel like you could put it on most things and it would improve the dish immensely. Perfect amount of crunch, delicious flavor, and is not at all dry. I’ve tried some of the other vegan bacon and omg, they are so dry it’s hard to swallow them! This “bacon” is quite the opposite – I can eat it poured straight into my mouth from the bag (a method of enjoyment I highly recommend, haha). I’m not a huge fan of coconut either, so I was wary the coconut flavor might be overpowering, but you can’t even taste it. Overall, this has a really nice smoky/bacony flavor, not coconutty at all. My favorite is the original, while my husband’s favorite is the spicy cayenne. I also love the super clean ingredients, as many alternatives are filled with a lot of crap. Give it a try, you’ll be so happy you did!”

Brendan said, “So glad this product is now available on Amazon! This bacon is delicious and crispy when fried in a pan with a bit of oil. Goes perfectly in a BLT or bacon-egg-cheese sandwich. Highly recommended for anyone interested in plant-based meat substitutes as it’s head and shoulders above the closest competition on the market, most of which tastes worse than the packaging it comes in. Seaweed protein is also the most environmentally friendly and sustainable protein source on the market which is a bonus. Can’t wait to taste the next product they come out!”
6. Lightlife

Jen said, “I think these look disgusting raw but taste and crisp up great! If you’re getting these to be super healthy, good luck to you, but if you’re just looking for a vegan replacement for bacon, remember to add oil!!! And honestly, this applies to every vegan bacon I’ve tried. There’s no actual bacon fat in these of course, and they’re very blah if you just cook them as is. Bacon is bacon largely because of all the fat, let’s be real, so however you cook them, make sure you’re adding some.
You don’t have to go nuts or anything, I just spray both sides with a vegan cooking spray (more than I’d use on just a pan, but still, I’ll lay out 2 or 3 slices, spray once or twice, close enough to hit all the slices but not much around them, flip and repeat) and cook them in an air fryer, and yeah, I think they’re great. I have cooked them in a pan too, and the same thing, remember to add a little fat–I just prefer the air fryer because they’re thin and can cook a little too fast and burn on the stove. They’re not my absolute favorite vegan bacon, but I think they’re pretty darned good for my uses.”

8. A Spice Affair
Transform your meals with A Spice Affair Everything Bacon Vegan Seasoning. For $18.99, this seasoning delivers the rich, smoky flavor of bacon without the meat. Perfect for enhancing potatoes or popcorn, it offers a versatile and easy way to enjoy bacon flavor.
Joanna said, “I thought this was going to be like pure bacon. It is not. It is a spice so it smells like bacon but it tastes like smoke flavoring with salt. Which is still a great spice and seasoning. I will buy it again. Only I think I would buy the bigger bottle if you use a lot of spice in your kitchen. If you’re not sure order this one it’s the smaller bottle. I think it’s worth the value and will order again.”
