How to Prepare Homemade Seitan Roast [Vegan]
- Set the oven to 350°F.
- Start boiling the water in a saucepan.
- In a medium bowl, put all the wet ingredients and mix them well with a fork, transfer to the food processor.
- Add the dry ingredients in and process until the mixture is fairly uniform.
- Wrap the mixture in a cheesecloth, shaping it into a dough ball. Wrap it somewhat tightly with the cheesecloth and put it in the boiling water for 4 minutes.
- Take off the cheesecloth off. Transfer the seitan into an oven tray.
- Season it with the olive oil and soy sauce, and roast for about 40-45 minutes.
