Sweet Mango Chili Lime Pizza [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

Ingredients You Need for Sweet Mango Chili Lime Pizza [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

For the Textured Vegetable Protein:

  • 1/2 cup of dry textured vegetable protein (TVP)
  • 1/4 cup boiled water

For the Pizza Toppings:

  • 2 tablespoons cashew cream or your favorite vegan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1-1 1/4 cups prepared TVP
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • A dash of hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup crushed tomatoes
  • Juice and zest of 1 lime
  • 1/2 cup mango, sliced
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Lime zest and sprouts, for topping

How to Prepare Sweet Mango Chili Lime Pizza [Vegan, Gluten-Free]

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Prepare TVP by placing dry product into a bowl and adding hot water. Let sit for around 5-10 minutes, stir occasionally.
  3. Into a sauce pan add your extra virgin olive oil, TVP, all spices, hot sauce, lime juice, half the zest. and crushed tomatoes. Cook this mixture on medium heat for around 5-10 minutes, stir well to ensure everything is completely coated. Once ready remove from heat to cool.
  4. Begin rolling out to your pizza dough. Use a bit of flour, if needed.
  5. Once you roll into desired shape gently add your cashew cheese, TVP mixture, tomatoes, and mangoes.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until your have a gorgeous golden crust.
  7. Once cooked add the rest of your zest and some fresh sprouts.
