For the Black Bean Salad:

  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup black beans
  • 1/2 cup corn
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red bell pepper
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon finely minced jalapeño pepper (depending on desired level of heat)
  • 1 tablespoon green onions
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  2. Flipped when golden brown and crispy, taking approximately 5-6 minutes per side to achieve the perfect texture.
