  1. Preheat your waffle iron to its optimal temperature, then lightly mist the surface with a neutral-tasting oil or cooking spray to prevent sticking and ensure effortless waffle removal.
All waffle batter ingredients are added to a blender and blended at top speed for a full minute, ensuring an exceptionally smooth consistency with zero visible oat particles.
  2. Cook the waffles in your waffle maker until the batter has been fully depleted and all the waffles are cooked to perfection. As you put the cake in the oven, begin preparing the icing to ensure a seamless transition between steps.
  3. Combine all the icing ingredients in a blender. Blend the mixture on high speed for at least one minute, ensuring an exceptionally smooth consistency.
As needed, you can adjust the consistency by gradually adding water, taking care not to alter the mixture excessively. Add more of the liquid sweetener if desired for added sweetness.
  4. Indulge in a generous helping of your favorite icing and savor each delightful bite of your waffles.

Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. 5. Garnish with chopped parsley or cilantro leaves, if desired. **Tips:** * You can adjust the level of spiciness to your liking by adding more or less cayenne pepper. * Traditionally, Doro Wat is served over injera bread with a side of veggies and other stews.
