A flavorful twist on traditional uttapams, here’s a recipe that combines the comfort of suji (semolina) with the spices and flavors of South India. Try this Instant Rava Uttapam Recipe today! Make the batter: In a bowl, combine 1 cup rava (suji), 3/4 cup water, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda. Mix well to form a smooth batter. Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat. Brush it with a little oil. Pour a ladle of the batter onto the pan and spread evenly to form a circular shape. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the edges start to curl and the surface is dry. Flip carefully. Add a dollop of butter, a sprinkle of coriander powder, and a pinch of cumin seeds on top. Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar for a delightful meal.
