This recipe elevates eight boneless, skinless chicken thighs to new heights through the magic of slow cooking. The teriyaki sauce, a harmonious fusion of low-sodium soy sauce, honey’s subtle sweetness, pungent garlic, and fragrant ginger, skillfully elevates the dish to new heights. As the slow-cooked chicken tenderly unfolds, its rich flavors harmonize in a culinary masterpiece.

  • Fresh Organic Chicken Thighs (8 pieces, bone-in, skinless)
  • Cornstarch (3 tbsp)
  • Water (1/4 cup)

For Teriyaki Sauce

  • Low-sodium Soy Sauce (1/2 cup)
  • Honey (1/2 cup)
  • Ginger (1 tbsp)
  • Garlic (3 cloves, minced)
  • Rice Vinegar (1/4 cup)
  • Onion (1, chopped)
  • Pepper to taste

Vegetables

  • Zucchini (1)
  • Broccoli (10-15 florets)
  • Carrot (1)

  1. Combine all the teriyaki sauce ingredients in a single vessel.
  2. Combine the ingredients carefully, then let them rest.
  3. Place a whole chicken or chicken pieces into a slow cooker, then pour over your favorite teriyaki sauce. Set the cooker to high and allow it to cook for four hours, during which time the chicken will be tenderized and infused with the rich flavors of the sauce.
  4. After four hours, thoroughly combine cornstarch with water.
  5. Add it to the chicken.
  6. Adding chopped vegetables, allow them to simmer for an additional thirty minutes to meld their flavors with the dish’s essence.
  7. Prior to serving, position the chicken breast neatly on a clean plate.
  8. Add vegetables on top.
  9. Add a ladle of juice to the final step and serve promptly.
