Crisp, Creamy, and Cozy Vegan Broccoli Cheese Tots: Essential Ingredients for a Deliciously Decadent Treat

  • 1 head broccoli
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seed
  • 3 tablespoons of water
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 finely chopped garlic
  • Two teaspoons of finely minced fresh basil.
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon flour salt
  • 1/2 cup corn flour
  • Three and one-half ounces of Viive Vegan Cheese
  • Coconut oil for frying

Crisp and Cozy Vegan Broccoli Cheese Tarts

  1. Allow chia seeds to soak in water for approximately ten minutes.
  2. Delicately break down the broccoli into bite-sized clusters, then slice the stalk into uniform strips before finely processing them for optimal presentation.
  3. Preheat a pan to medium heat and then add one to two teaspoons of coconut oil, allowing it to melt and reach the desired temperature before cooking for approximately three to four minutes.
  4. Adding more garlic won’t hurt, but let’s see… Skipping to the point: Are you looking for an extra minute?
  5. As the aromatic broth gently simmers for a full four minutes, the added spices mingle with the tender broccoli, releasing a symphony of flavors that will tantalize your taste buds.
  6. Combine the fried mixture in a bowl with the chia mixture, shredded cheese, and cornstarch, mixing thoroughly to incorporate all ingredients.
  7. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, then line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  8. Carefully shape the broccoli mixture into 12 uniform balls, then gently position them on a prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake the broccoli cheese bites for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they reach a golden-brown, crispy texture.

Recommended Pork Cooking Temperature – Barefeet in the Kitchen: To ensure food safety and juicy results, cook pork to an internal temperature of at least 145°F (63°C), followed by a three-minute rest. For thicker cuts, aim for 160°F (71°C) or higher. Remember that boneless pork can be slightly more forgiving, while bones and joints may require a higher temperature, especially if you’re cooking with the bone in.
