  • 24 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 French yellow apple, chopped
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 3/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Freshly squeezed juice and fragrant zest of a single, succulent orange.
  • Zest of a lemon
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 12 tablespoons agave

Crisp Apples and Vibrant Cranberries Unite for a Festive Favorite: Vegan, Grain-Free Cranberry Sauce

  1. Boil cranberries, apple, applesauce, pineapple juice, and water in a saucepan. Adjust the heat to a moderate setting and allow the mixture to cook gently at a low boil for approximately quarter of an hour.
  2. Decrease temperature and incorporate a harmonious blend of orange juice, its fragrant zest, the brightness of lemon zest, a pinch of salt, and a touch of agave nectar. Continue cooking over low heat for an additional 10 minutes, occasionally stirring the mixture with a wooden spoon to gently crush the cranberries and achieve a smoother consistency.
  3. Keep at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least four to five hours or preferably overnight.
