Tender morsels of chicken are marinated in a harmonious blend of oils and aromatic spices, then swiftly seared in a sizzling skillet to produce succulent and intensely flavorful Indian Chicken Bites. Satisfying even the pickiest of eaters, this dish pairs exquisitely well with either the bright, citrusy flavors of Cilantro Lime Rice or the earthy depth of Mushroom and Pepper Rice Pilaf, earning it top billing as a beloved family favorite.

Savoring tender and mouthwateringly flavorful Chicken Bites is the perfect solution for a quick and satisfying dinner on even the most hectic weeknights. Over a period of 12 years, this dish has evolved into one of my go-to speedy supper options.
Discovering a recipe for Indian Chicken Bits was the catalyst that sparked our culinary curiosity; upon reviewing the ingredient list and noting its straightforward nature, we were eager to give it a try. I’ve stored the recipe for future consideration in my digital filing cabinet labeled “Recipes I’m Keen to Attempt.”
One weekend, as our home was filled with children struggling with illness, Sean managed to whip up these Chicken Bits for a quick and easy dinner despite the chaos. This dish lacks a distinctively Indian flair. While the chicken boasts incredible flavour and a subtle kick of spice. We thoroughly delighted in it.
This quick and effortless meal takes approximately 30 minutes to prepare, allowing for a brief resting period for the chicken.
Countless times have we produced this very same product over the past six years. This succulent chicken is sure to please as either an appetizing amuse-bouche or a satisfying main course.
I’ve paired this chicken with the rice dishes I mentioned above, or enjoyed it on its own with Homemade Ranch Dip. I frequently accompany the chicken with an abundance of crisp, fresh vegetables, perfect for dipping into the tangy and creamy ranch dressing.
Chicken bites have become a staple dinner option in my household, where we now enjoy an array of flavors including Southwest, Honey Sriracha, Hawaiian-style Huli Huli, smoky Chipotle Ranch, sweet Honey Spice Broiled, and indulgent Bacon Wrapped.

Chicken Bites Recipe
Cut the chicken into bite-sized cubes measuring roughly three-quarters to one inch in diameter. Place the ingredients in a mid-sized bowl. Combine the spices in a small dish or measuring cup. Combine 1 tablespoon of melted coconut oil (if using) or regular oil with the chicken in the bowl, along with all the spices. Toss well to combine. Allow yourself a minimum of 10 minutes to recharge and refocus before proceeding.
Heat two tablespoons of oil in a massive skillet over extremely high heat. With the oil heated to the desired temperature, carefully introduce the chicken into the pan. Cooking the chicken continuously, using a spatula or tongs to stir or turn it frequently, until it is golden brown on the exterior and fully cooked throughout. This task will likely require only a short period of time to complete. To ensure juicy and flavorful results, avoid overcooking the chicken at all costs.
Once the chicken pieces have reached a satisfactory level of doneness, promptly remove them from the pan to prevent overcooking or further browning. Since the pieces are diminutive, leaving them in the scorching pan would precipitate drying out.
On our initial attempt at making Indian Chicken Bits, we paired them with Roasted Potato Wedges and a tangy serving of Po’dunk Sauce.
The sauce proved to be an irresistible accompaniment, whether paired with crispy potatoes or juicy chicken – its flavors truly shone when served alongside both. We shared in the delight, and our experience mirrored yours perfectly.
Here’s a final serving tip. If you’re lucky enough to have a stash of fresh zucchini on hand, consider tossing it into the pan immediately following the addition of your chicken for a mouthwatering Sauteed Spiced Zucchini dish that will elevate any meal.
I’ve developed a penchant for cooking this chicken simply because it allows me to utilize the lingering pan juices to prepare the zucchini. This dish is equally tasty when served with my Easy Rice Pilaf or paired alongside Skillet Mexican Street Corn.
