And that’s exactly why Olivia Munn’s genius hack to keep the meal in the keto-compliant rotation is so great; it’ll give you the best of both worlds.

Yes, of course going keto means nixing most of your carbs, but breadless “toast” isn’t so bad if you do it right. Promise. In an interview with Byrdie, Munn revealed her go-to breakfast strategy, which involves starting her mornings by slicing a perfectly-ripe avocado in half. Then, she tops each half with protein-rich hemp seeds, kosher salt, and some antioxidant-heavy lemon juice before gobbling it up with a spoon. Yeah, it’s that simple.

Not only can you enjoy this low-carb breakfast at home every day, but you can also take it on the road. Since both avocados and lemons come with their built-in protective cases, you can toss ’em right into your carry-on with your trusty slicer tool and a reusable baggie (like this one from Stasher) for the toppings to make the meal mess-free. And if you really want to amp up the flavor, sprinkle on some of Trader Joe’s “Everything But the Bagel” seasoning.
