This is seriously one of the best recipes you’ll ever make. This cake is comprised of a dense, dark chocolate pecan cake base topped off with a sweet, creamy, spiced caramel sauce and covered in pecans: can you go wrong here? No. Serve this over the holidays to your loved ones and they will all be shocked when you tell them it is raw, vegan, gluten-free, and super healthy. Praise pecans!

Raw Chocolate Caramel Pecan Cake [Vegan]

Ingredients You Need for Raw Chocolate Caramel Pecan Cake [Vegan]

For the Caramel:

  • 3/4 cup dates
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cinnamon and nutmeg, to taste (I used about 1/2 teaspoon of each)
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • Water, as needed (I used about 1 cup altogether)

For the Topping:

  • Handful pecans
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg

How to Prepare Raw Chocolate Caramel Pecan Cake [Vegan]

  1. To make the cake: put the pecans in your food processor and process until they become small crumbs. Add the rest of the ingredients and process until it all begins to stick together. Press into a small spring form pan (mine was about 6 inches), leaving the sides slightly higher than the center so you can later pour in the caramel. Leave in the fridge for a few hours or overnight.
  2. To make the caramel: blend all the ingredients until smooth, adding water as needed to get a caramel consistency. Pour into the center of your cake and spread to the sides so it drizzles down and looks sexy. Oh, baby. Top off with pecans or other nuts if you wish. Enjoy with spiced nut milk!

Gordon Ramsay’s Killer Chicken Parmesan Recipe from the F Word. You’ll need: * 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts * 1 cup all-purpose flour * 1 tsp paprika * 1 tsp garlic powder * 1 tsp salt * 1/2 tsp black pepper * 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular) * 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese * 2 large eggs * 1 cup marinara sauce * 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). 2. In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. 3. Dip each chicken breast in the beaten eggs, then coat in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess. 4. Place the coated chicken on a plate or tray. 5. Heat about 1/2 inch (1 cm) of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. 6. Add 2-3 chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. 7. Remove the cooked chicken from the skillet and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 8. Sprinkle the top of each chicken breast with some Parmesan cheese. 9. Spoon some marinara sauce over the top of the chicken breasts. 10. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top of the chicken breasts. 11. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. 12. Serve hot and enjoy!
